Biographical Info

Cara Urban worked with NRS as full-time project staff for three years and continues to support the organization through Overset Consulting, LLC as a project manager via background research, workflow development, progress tracking and relationship management. She graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, where she investigated food systems and public health outcomes. Cara’s experience spans the fields of environmental restoration and healthcare. Her work has included volunteer coordination for water quality mitigation and adaptation projects with her hometown’s watershed management group, the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy.
